I've just switched over to an old Motherboard after my previous Gigabyte stopped working after a massive build-up of dust.

The board is by Micro-Star International, Model MS-6340(VT8363), from an old 'Time' PC. The expansion slots info is as follows:

Slots One AGP(Accelerated Graphics Port) slot.
- AGP specification compliant
- Support AGP 2.0 1x/2x/4x One CNR(Communication Network Riser) slot.
Three 32-bit Master PCI Bus slots. Supports 3.3v/5v PCI bus Interface.

Can anyone recommend some suitable graphics cards (probably secondhand) that would be compatible, and provide an increase in performance over my current on-board graphics. I'm not a gamer, but movies are a bit jerky when played.

If you're not a gamer, just shove a standard GeForce MX4000 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143098) in there and call it a day.

Unless you also need AeroGlass support?

saphalline:

Sorry for the delay.

I picked a GeForce FX5500 on ebay (UK), so its given me a much-needed boost in the graphisc department. Thanks for giving me a 'kick' in the right direction!
