No Connection

I have a Win 98 PC :i actually bought this one!:D: and it has had trouble.

The board itself preforms great. Just what stuff i try to use on it is the killer. For instance, i have a Linksys WUSB54G Ver. 4 wireless USB adapter. It is fully compatible with Win98SE (which im running) and everytime i start the computer it doesnt even say its there. I have to unplug it and then plug it back in for it to get reconized. The Linksys wireless utility says im connected to the router but no connection to the internet could be established. How can i fix this?

Update the motherboard drivers. If you don't know what you have look for SiSofts Sandra utility. To troubleshoot connectivity I would find out if you are getting a DHCP assigned IP address, I would guess you are not.
