Howdy.

I like Knoppix - nice and easy to use, as far as a Linux distro goes(from my Windoze background).

I am researching it now, but wanted to know if anyone here uses it in an installed form, not as a live CD/DVD...

Is it horribly painful to install it on a HDD over running from a live CD?

No, but it is usually easier to install on its own HDD than setting up a dual boot with its own partition. Thank goodness HDDs are cheap nowadays. The partitioning tools included are quite good.

Cool, thanks.
I have a couple of spare 80GB HDD's, so I will use one of those, in a spare box.
