Firefox and offline browsing

I have downloaded a whole site and I am trying to use firefox in offline mode to see it but it tries to read some links/images from online urls so I get many broken links.Any ideas how to fix that?

Any links that are absolute links will still be absolute links - unless the spidering software also downloads the linked-to pages. A site using relative links (like most do) will work when downloaded. So if you have absolute links and you are not on-line the page of course cannot be displayed.
