For the last few days I've been getting error messages occasionally when I close Windows Explorer windows (that REALLY doesn't sound grammatically correct :p ). I always seem to get 2 of these messages near simultaneously one tells me that Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, the other says Dr Watsons Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close. At this point my desktop and task bar freezes, I can still ctrl+alt+del and get the Task Manager to open and usually end the Windows Explorer from there, but this keeps happening and it's getting pretty annoying.

I know that it isn't a virus, and I've done some checking online on it and now know that Dr Watsons Postmortem Debugger is a Microsoft made and installed program used to report errors to Microsoft. There's also some suggested fixes on various sites and forums, I found this as a potential fix for the error but I'm not sure, so if it's OK could someone who either knows about this problem, or that knows more than I do take a look here (http://www.thenerdnetwork.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4003&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) it'd be appreciated. Thnx

http://forums.3dgamers.com/showthread.php?t=3729 = drwtsn32.exe ; This explains it well.

Follow the instructions here to disable it:

Reboot and these two processes should no longer be present:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drwtsn32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drwtsn32.exe
