The Microsoft Update and Windows Updates are sending the fix automatically for affected OS versions (note Vista is not one of the affected versions).
The bug it fixes is a Zero Day exploit using ANI problem.

There are some reports this update causes an issue with an AVG AV dll., fSecure, and Realtek Audio.
