First off sorry if this has been suggested before. I know CD's can be updated with new material for a small fee whereas the printed page cannot, But I personally would by a print version of the PC Guide. Anybody else with me on this?

I mentioned this in an email to Charles, he replied that it had been suggested before, but he feels the site is so hopelessly out of date it would not be appropriate to publish it in book form.

Most of the site is oriented toward Windows 95 & NT, and since we now have ME, XP and Windows 2000 to also deal with, I tend to agree that to publish a book would mean a major rewrite of the site as well, and Charles is very busy on other projects, which he has explained in another topic in Announcements.

I would love it, but I doubt if it will ever happen, and lots of great books are already available as well. As much respect and confidence as I have in Charles' abilities and knowledge, I really doubt if he could cover anything that hasn't already been covered in a dozen books already, mainly certification textbooks.
