Keyword Search

It would be very useful if there was a keyword search facility in each forum. For instance I have just bought a microphone and I cannot get it to work and so have been looking for `microphone' topics - so far without luck. It is very hard on the eyes to scroll through numerous pages looking for specicic topiss - a keword search would do the job nicely!!

Looking above the message you should see New Topic post Reply Track Topic
Directly below those 3 icons and heading you should see Profile | Register | Preferences | Faq |Search
If you click on the Search it will send you here

You can then search by keyword , use the limit features or search the whole board and archives
You can even limit the search by authors name if you like

To do a search click on the SEARCH button at top of page and then use drop down list and choosec ALL Open Forums and Archives

up under track topic there is a search type in what word your searching for should do the trick.I know what your saying, but if people do not suggest in there topic a sensable word for there trouble shooting prob.
EXAMPLE: I have a problem with my graphics card! INSTEAD of:My computers not working HELP! Thanks all for your help. I feel rather sheepish that I had not found the keyword search facility when it is so obvious!! Guess all of us don't see the wood for the tress on occasions!
