i was looking at motherboards and ram..and on the motherboard specs it says Memory Standard DDR2 800..does that mean you cant use...DDR2 1000..im looking to build a comp heres wut im looking at now if the ram will work, otherwise ill either change the ram or mobo

let me know how this will work...and fill me in on what else i need...power supply and stuff..i want a gaming case when its complete...should i get a bareboes first while im building it ...or just..get a gaming case and put it in there..or whats going on O_O

It's compliant. If you can afford it, get the step up core 2 duo. It has 4M L2 Cache [Cash], twice as much as the one you have picked out. You will notice a difference if you get the 4M. Its only 100 more.

Good motherboard. Good memory.

I'd go for a 8800gts 320MB version over your video card. I don't think it's much more expensive but it's dx10.
