Hi, I am a real newbit here to computer issues and language and will give it a go. Anyone here know if Intel recalled some motherboards in the recent past, and if so, which model of computer were they for? Any info will be greatly appreciated. I keep experiencing screen freezes, monitor blinking out etc. My video card was recently replaced for these same reasons which persist. Then a friend told me about hearing about Intel recalling motherboards cause a chip was causing these symptoms.
Thanks in advance
Byke
Yes, there was a recall but only of certain hardware. See this link for details: http://www.asus.com/820mth.html

the main board that you are asking about is the cc820 by intel or one with the i820 chip
it is a mth controller issue, they will replace or refund the board if it is underwarranty..go to www.intel/support/mth/ (http://www.intel/support/mth/)
