McAfee Anti-virus scan and Critical Files

Purchased McAfee and installed on my computer, but when the scan kicks in and it gets to the 'critical files' it reboots. If I take critical files off the scan everything is fine - but I can only do this for the manual scan.

Any ideas?

I did a scan and it tells me that i have some 'Critical PC Files' How do i take care of this??
