I just noticed that my memory wasn't 2 gigs as i thought. I found this out when i installed my new cpu. In my information Its says i have 1028. I pulled out the stick out and i noticed two of the teeth are burnt. I relaced them with other ram i had but i still dont see them.
How can i test to see if all my ram slots are working,

take your other known working 1gb stick and put it in the suspect slot...
if something shorted hot enough to burn, you can be pretty confident some of those thin traces are burned somewhere else. motherboards have many layers anyhow, so the damage may not be visible...

it may be wise if you can enter the setup when you boot up the machine and check for bios features or try putting the sticks in another computer, right click the mouce, propertise and their you are.
