Can't change desktop

right now I have a black background and it is set to None.

If I select anything else, it looks like it's gonna work, but when I apply, it just pops back to None. :confused:

Others at my work are having the same problem, maybe IT related?

yes, i need to log into the company network before the pc will load the desktop. Some here can change and some cannot. One coworker said that IT came over and had uninstall something or change something to allow her to change her desktop image.

This could be an administrative issue. One where they have to release the secutity for you to alter settings on your specific workstation. For that you would have to speak with your IT Advisor and have them look into. Do you have some sort of a IT Professional on hand, because it sounds like its not a PC issue but a network one.

Yes ,this could be an administrative issue,the uninstalling may change the permission of your account through change the system registry ,you should restore system registry i think.

my IT pro is going to be under my foot...I am also admin on my machine.
