setup an email account with microsoft mail, if it is still in service
since we don't know if microsoft is still in service, why don't you try signing up for a gmail account at http://www.gmail.com
they have their configuration instruction here -> http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13278
If you have other pop servers, it will still be the same procedure except that some will have different ports for pop/smtp and some other minor differences.
The same general procedure would apply for all different services. You sign up for an account at the website, and they give you an email address and password. Then somewhere in the help links or FAQ will be instructions on setting up Outlook (if supported).

Microsoft mail is no longer supported under Outlook 2002/2003 but it can apparently still be made to work (http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/msmail.htm).

I remember having microsoft mail a couple of years ago, but if it is going to be a problem I will just forget all about it. I have Juno mail so I will just avoid getting a headache. It's just that I just install the new program and decided to do the email thing also.
I thank you for all the replies.
