Hi All,

I have recently got a Belkin f5d7000uk wireless card and have tried connecting my pc to the houses main one which uses a Belkin Wireless router. when i open the wireless utility i can see the network and have 5 out of 6 bars signal but i am unable to connect to it. if i look in control panel> network connections the wireless conenction is unavailable. im pretty sure i have no encryption or security blocking the connection but have recently purchased norton for the main computer so am unsure. also in the wireless utility menu i can see several other networks which all have a padlock image next to them mine does not.
i have spoken to belkin on the phone for hours to no avail and am now conpletely stumped. i have updated drivers, reset the router, reinstalled the card and tried about everything i know possible. i have even tried a different card to check it wasn't broken and had the same problem.

please can someone help.

very much appreciated

Welcome tohttp://www.pcguide.com/ubb/pcgubb.gif Forums!

Usually, the techs are pretty thorough...

Do you have a firewall enabled? If so, try connecting with out...
