Greetings,

I am planning on getting certified with Netware and have some questions for anyone who is knowledgeable on this.
I have the Netware 5.1 evaluation software and three computers. Plan to study on my own. There is a book I am considering on getting titled “Novell’s CNE Study Guide for Netware 5.1.” It covers 565, 570, 575 & 580.
Question: What are these courses 565, 570, etc. and do I need to get certified in CNA first?

Tom

P.S. Where can I find a mentor with experience?

Hey Tom,

First passing the Administration test will earn you the CNA.

Go here : http://www.novell.com/education/certinfo/cne/nw5.html

for a map of the different courses and tests.

And here for a CNE progress chart: http://www.novell.com/education/certinfo/cne/

To find a mentor try the local Netware User group in your area. Go to www.nuinet.com (http://www.nuinet.com) for more information, Memebership is free.

Good Luck http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

"Klingon function calls do not have 'parameters'. They have 'arguments'....and they ALWAYS WIN THEM!"
