Setting IE as default browser

In one of my computers I have IE and Netscape. However, when trying to access the internet with programs that need updating, Netscape always opens up instead of IE. How do I set IE as my default browser? Or should I delete Netscape?
Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Disregard my thread. I just found out how to reset my IE as the default browser.

I figured I'd answer this anyway in case anyone uses the search to find an answer for this:

click "internet options" from the tools menu. On the window that comes up, click the "programs" tab. Under the default web browser section click "make default"
