The following file is missing or corrupt. Help!

Hey, my laptop (an HP DV1100) will not load windows. It says the following file is missing or corrupt:

windows32\l_intl.nls

I have put in the Notebook Documentation disc, and it won't read it. What can I do?

Have you tried SAFEMODE?

I think HPs get into SAFEMODE by tapping the F8 key after you turn it on...
