Buying a very basic pc

The board has decided to buy one new computer, out of the box, no hassles of a donated pc. With $500 where do we look. No breaks for non profits from local shops. We are looking at Envision Computers basic model which would suffice. We are avoiding the name brands like DELL, Gateway, Sony, etc. Any reccomendations for online trustworthy sources for a basic pc would be greatly appreciated. All we need is the pc, not the monitor, mouse, etc.
