Has anyone taken the compaq desktop/workstation test? I have to take it for work, and I havent found a whole lot of information on it, except for the online course I did. From what I have heard alot of the information in the course is not on the test. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't know a thing about the Compaq exam, but have you checked out BrainBuzz.com? They are the biggest certification grab-bag I've seen on the web; a search on "compaq" yielded numerous results.

I was just looking into this last week, it seems that you 1st need to be A+ Certified, and then there are additional specific customer service protocol questions.

for example: One customer calls and says that his computer is on fire - what should he do.

a second customer calls and says that he has 10 computers networked at his business and can't connect to the server.

which call has priority??

who is put on hold??

does it matter the order in which the calls were recieved??

and why.

you are correct sir!!!

regardless of the exagerated situation I outlined above and contrary to what most people may believe...... compaq's view is that whatever problem affects the most people or should I say the seriousness of the problem is paramount.

the order in which your call is recieved is unimportant.
