I worked on this thing for about an hour, doing the transitions and what not.
I used Jasc Animation Shop 3.11
This is a banner for my band.
For being 14 i think i did a good job?

How do you think it came out?

Any suggestions on how i could improve it?

Andrew- Bass is a little dull- change the color to something that will stand out more on a black background
Other than that, looks good(to me)....

Looks pretty good - but it's about 3.5 MB for a 468x60 banner. What's it to be used for, and do you expect anyone on dial-up to see it?

If you have access to a computer with Flash (perhaps at your school if you're in high school) that can also be used to make some pretty nice .gif animations, and it's not too hard to use.

it is to be used to be a promo for my band. yeah i know the 3.5 MB tag isnt too easy for people on dial up =/

Looks good! Although I have to agree with the dial-up comment, it shouldn't be a problem if it's not a critical part of the page.

Pretty good, but do avoid blue on black - it's difficult to see.
Flash would be great, and there are plenty of apps you could export with.

What program would i use to make flash??

But you kept mentioning Flash, how would i make something with it?

Usually schools will have Flash for digital media classes, otherwise it's pretty expensive. It lets you make pretty much any kind of animation you can think of as long as you can draw it. I'm pretty sure it's some the only animation software with so much capability that also lets you publish files as .gif's.

I'm not familiar with the Jasc Animation shop, but if you can animate something in that it probably won't take you too long to get into flash, especially with a quick tutorial search in google.

All in all you could make some pretty awesome animations with flash, and if you've got a website for your band it'll make it look extra snazzy. :D

yeah we hope to be a powerful rock band.

Ive made some new things. Easy peasy with paint. But for Paint i think theyre nice.
