Hi Diurnal,

With ComTIA you never really know what's happening. If you look at their site Here (http://www.comptia.com/certification/index.htm) they say that the test goes adaptive from 31/08/01.
As for the content, I've downloaded a couple of PDF files from Here (http://www.comptia.com/certification/aplus/all_about_aplus.htm) that shows the content for the 2001 exam.

Hope this helps http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

In addition to my last post, I have just purchased the latest Mike Meyers A+ book and noticed that there is a change in the DOS requirements for the new exams. The new exams concentrate on DOS commands rather than the DOS O/S.
Quote: This test does not require Windows 3.1 or DOS knowledge, but it does expect you to have strong command prompt skills.

You will also be required to have knowledge of conventional, expanded and extended memory.
