comp being slow as

my comp is so slow it wont load one single program, ive run my anitivirus and spyware programs at least 5 times and everything seems fine and i even ran disk check and defrag and took off all the big programs like games etc. but still slow.

i don't know my system specs, all i know is i'm running XP home, the programs ive run are: AVG free, ad-adware SE, Avast, spyware doctor and spybot S&D

Try deleting all of your Temporary Internet Files. That may or may not be your problem. But if you cache is too full, that can slow things down.

Did the slowdown occur suddenly or did it occur over a longer period of time?

Aren't those two anti-virus programs? I thought having 2 AVs running on your PC was a bad bad idea.:confused:
