Note really related to A+ but some one might be able to help.
I am reading a books on distributed computing and there are many occassions when messages of this form appears:
"the client stube builds the message and traps to the kernel"
"... calls made by traps to the kernel"
What does the word "traps" imply here??
It usually always comes preceeding the word kernel.
