i say the sticky and cheked it out , nothin

well i had a custom built pc , as a backup and i had a fried mobo pc so i was gonna take its ram (DDR 266) 1 stick and i was going to take it brand new 256 mb ati GPU (AGP ) and put it in the mobo and its (socket 478 ) cpu (p4 HT 3.0ghz) and put it in

so right now it is

Pentium 4 HT 3.0ghz

1 512 mb DDR 400 stick(gigaram) and 1 256 mb ddr 266 stick (unknown)

pc chips p25G ver 3.0 mobo

GECUBE R9550-D3H-256M Radeon 9550 256MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card

and thats really all that has changed (mobo didn't change but it is important ,ehh)

When i turn on the pc the fans go on, i think hard drive spins (it gets hot says thermo-reader). CD trays open, but monitor says nothing ,also no beeps no nothing at all . I thought its was the GPU so i took the ATI card out and plugged it in to built in graphics and no change , before i rip everything out i was wondering if you got any suggestions as to what is wrong ( i used wristband) and all parts were working previously

Thanks all

also i never switched my cpu back to the old one before i do is there anything i can try or is that the problem i tried resetting the bios and still nothin , the cpu is HT do you think i need to enable it by switching the proc enabling it then switching back ?

ok it boots now that i swapped the P4 Ht to a celeron D and so i installed they 256 stick of ram and it boots fine and i put the ati card in and installed drivers it works fine , now all i need is to put the p4 back in but i can't see where to enable the HT and thats the only problem i can think of
