Hello folks,

I started reading this board some time ago, seems like an eternity ago, but naturally it hasn't been as long as it seems. I just wanted to tell everyone how much this fourm has/had helped me in becoming more familar with the computer and the IT community in general. Since my first log on, I have gone on to gain the A+ certification, that was the first one. Then I went on and completed the MCP, MCSA, and yesterday the final exam of the MCSE. I am currently enrolled in the CISCO academy courses here in our junior college and will complete that course of study in Dec of this year, and hopefully the CCNA certification before Jan 1. If I never go to work in this field, it sure has been an educational experience both on the computer side, and the human side. You are all very nice individuals, and I really appreciate all the help you have given me during these two years. Thanks again for telling me that I could do this. For anyone just starting out,,,I'd remind them of what I was told,,,"You Can Do This"...thanks to all. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well Yoda,

I learned a long time ago, never forget those that helped you learn to walk, or climb ladders. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif Also, its always easier to go up, than come back up, depending on who you've offended on your trips ups the ladder.

Seems there are always ups and downs. But I hear you,,,lets just hope I can located some nice little 'desktop support' opportunity. Maybe then, ten years or so down the road,,,I can help others as I've been helped. Best to you and your's. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Wow! I'm impressed. You gained alot of knowledge in just 2 years time. Ive been playing around with computers for about 4 and 1/2 years and Ive yet to take my A+ exam. Damn! I'm lazy.

Hello Jeremey,

Well, I'm sure that having stuck with the computers for 4 1/2 years your definately not 'lazy' http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/cool.gif, and besides, I'd like to have your 4 1/2 years experience, and in 4 1/2 from now, hopefully I will have. I was just fortunate that not having other obligations allowed me to study a lot, and having a few computers handy help too. If you want it though, go far it, with your experience, you'll most likely do it in a much shorter time frame than I was able to do it. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
