hi
sorry if i post this in the wrong section
but i really dont know what is causing this
problem.

when i load americas army and i am connecting to the online game server
the pc just freeze with the hard disk lite remains on colour red, and pc will
not respond. then i need to reset it or pull power cable out, sometimes i do manage to enter the server and play games but
more black screens than games.

after this sometimes it will then start frezzing when windows is booting up
and i need to reset the pc.

iv just formated the system and done fresh install but to no luck as this
problem is still happening

iv phisiclly reseated the rams and video card, cheaked all the cables and power conectors to see they are connected properly but its not solving anything

system specs are

cpu :sempron 2800+
motherboard :ecs socket 754 /ddr /pci express
dvd :writer (LG)
harddisk :80gb
ram :1 gb ddr 400
videocard :geforce 7300 pci-Ex 256mb with turbo cache upto 512
power suply 400w

any advice would be great !!
thanx

yes, battlefield 2 does the same thing
iv only got these 2 games installed

i think it might be hardware related as iv reinstalled windows
3 times and 2 of those times with a format
i got latest video card driver update and windows updates also

im kind of lost in this problem,
any advice from any one would be
accepted

thanx !

Your temps might be too high. If you don't have a program installed that can check your temperatures already, I suggest downloading Everest Home Edition. It's free, and gives you lots of detailed information.

If your temps are fine, then try a different video card, or try your video card on another computer, because it may be a video card problem.
