Ill try keep this short without confusing to many.
Finally getting my own little gaming room in the house, and both the xbox 360 and pc will be hooked up to my new lcd television. I have surround sound on the pc, and wondering how i would go about hooking up the xbox 360 to process sound through the pc. Is there a sound card out there, that has optical in, which i can wire the pc in to, and produce 5.1 surround?
I have searched, and although some seem to have this, forums seem to make me believe that it wont re-produce 5.1 sound output.
The other option I would consider is using the audio cables that are provided with the component cable, but again i am unsure if this would be any easier.
Any help would be appreciated.
