Need help, My cmos clock gains time, even after system is shut down. At first I thought that the battery was just going bad so I replaced it.
I checked the sys time with a program called pc-check and sure enough the cmos clock gains time on the system clock about 5 or 6 seconds per minute. any ideal's.
thanks

That's more than usual, most computers have clocks that don't keep time very well, but few are that bad.
Only thing I know of is get an application that will log onto the Naval Observatory and reset your computer's clock to the correct time. I use one called About Time (http://www.arachnoid.com/abouttime/index.html) that works pretty well.
