Hi
Was just wondering if you could give me some help. I have a ASUS P4T-M motherboard which supports CPU 423 sockets, i have bought an adapter to convert it to socket 478. I bought a pentium 4 2.4ghz cpu with a FSB speed of 533mhz. My motherboard only supports 400mhz. Will the CPU still be able to work, and if so how badly will performance be affected? Am I able to upgrade the BIOS? Thank you for your help.
