Buying A New Laptop??

Hi i am cosidering buying a new laptop online with the following description and specs:

Now i do not know much about hardware, more about software(programming). I intend to use this purely for work, with some music. I plan on using this to connect to my 2mb home internet which uses an ADSL Router. Can somebody tell me if i will be able to connect to my home internet wirelessly because my friend who also has laptop said that i should look for something callled WAN.

Also, is there anyting i need to purchase inorder to connect to my home internet??
