your computer doesn't support dual channel, but you can still use the kit.

"Each memory slot can hold DDR PC3200,DDR PC4000 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.*

Maximum Memory: 3072MB
USB Support: 2.x Compliant
Standard Memory: 128, 256, or 512MB removable
Slots: 4 (4 banks of 1)
Graphics Support: PCI Express x16 "

So do I have to modify anything with the dual channel or is it just a non used feature which is fine by me. Also I ordered today and thx to newegg with no rushed everything its coming tommrow? Does anyone have a good guide to do it I can have my friend do it but would take a few days unless its real easy?

Okay so my ram came today. I tried for a while to install it but like there was so much stuff in the way I couldn't get to the ram. Does anyone have a media center can give me detailed instructions or can anyone help me? I checked the stuff at hp.com but there picture has way less stuff in the way then my computer. I'm not talented enough to unhook everything blindly and stuff without direction.
