Hey, well it seems to me that I am long overdue for a new computer. My current computer just cant keep up with up with the new games and it is definitely outdated. I would like to get your opinions and/or suggestions on the setup that I came up with.

Motherboard
EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 LGA 775 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813188013&ATT=13-188-013&CMP=OTC-d3alt1me) $219.99
(nForce 680i SLI, It is the best SLI chipset out there but is more than I need for my video card?)

CPU
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115003) $222.90
(I have always been an AMD person, but it seems like Intel is the way to go rite now)

Video Card
BFG GeForce 7950 GT (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2918356) $179.99 - $139.99 after mail in rebates
(I have already purchased one and is currently on the way, will get another later)

RAM
Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2 1066 PC2 8500 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145033) $169.00
or
XMS2 2GB DDR2 800 PC2 6400 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145034) $131.00
(Is the extra 38 dollars worth the increased speed? 800 does have better timings)

Hard Drive
Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148140) $79.99
(Is Sata much faster than IDE? I have a 160GB IDE Hard drive rite now, and if there isn't a really big difference then I would just stick with my current one)

CD/DVD Burner
LITE-ON DVD-RW (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106073)

PSU
XCLIO GREATPOWER 700W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817189009)

Case
Gigabyte 3D Aurora
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811233004)

Looks good. It's too bad you went for the 7950gt rather than the 8800gts/gtx.

Yeah I would have loved to have got an 8800gts but for the price of one of those I could get two 7950gt's, I figure that a 7950gt's is still a hell of a lot better than by current x800gto. Any suggestions though? I would like to cut costs if possible, just read under the parts I posted and see.
