I am sorry you have decided to leave without consulting with the mods about your concerns... I consider you to be a valuable member of this online community and I would be sad to see you go... I hope you consider that there are many others on the forum who may see things more as you do and reconsider your choice... :(

Ski,
Please contact a moderator or Charles with your concerns.
The moderators have repeatedly asked members to treat each other with respect, what can we do to help?

It is often how it is said I think. Everyone should re read their posts before submitting. Sometimes you sound like an ass when you're not trying to. But sometimes, you really are an ass, and should learn to mitigate your braying tone.

I think the post from Ski showed a great deal of patience; more than I have with most posters and he is a better man for it.

You cannot diagnose all computer problems based on your assumptions, many times computer novices leave out critical details and need to be given baby steps, in order to diagnose and fix issues. This is the best way to "teach" by the way. I believe the forum is more about 'teaching" than "solving" and ... fashion my responses as such.

I've sent ski a message and hopefully we can resolve this. Everyone, please remember that conflicts do happen -- give us a chance to correct them before making unfortunate decisions! Thanks.

I was not talking with a clear mind and shall willingly eat crow on my recent behavior.
