View Full Version : Quick survey :)
I currently do not cover all the parts and aspects of a PC on the site, as you can see if you visit the Reference Guide main page at http://www.PCGuide.com/ref/index.htm
Question: if I were to add a new section to the site covering some aspect of the PC that I do not currently discuss, what would you like to see it be?

I remember Samantha mentioning that it would be nice to have some available tech reference on home networking of pc's. You do a great job of covering a wide spectrum of the pc now. It is hard to think of what to expound on without having run into a particular problem first. I see a lot of questions on partitioning and reformatting of hard drives in here so that could be a topic to cover(re-cover). Or you could just simply take a
well-deserved break to cool the wires & grey matter http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

ps-I sent Leo & Patrick at The Screensavers an e-mail about how well your site is doing and how great it is with the organization and information and updatedness (I created that one...I think) and suggested that maybe they have you as a guest. I know you are on an entirely different coastline than they, but they make netcams for a reason.

Nothing particularly exciting here, just a second (third?) to the suggestions that have been put forward already.
1. Relax and recharge.
2. Home networking.

Good suggestions, folks. Thanks. And you're all very kind, suggesting I take a break. I will, at some point. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Have to agree with the point on Home Networking. It's to big of a challenge without having a safety net.

Well Charles, I cast my vote for home networkin'. I'm starting to plan my own and could use some info.
The people have spoken! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif It's a humongous job though, to do it right; there are a lot of different issues and aspects, and I want to cover it thoroughly.
My best guess would be: look for it next spring sometime. If I am lucky. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
In the meantime, you folks might want to check out http://www.wown.com or http://www.homepcnetwork.com
