Just read an article about how the s3 mode only uses about 5 watts of power when utilized compared to the s1 mode which uses significantly more,as well as shut the system fans down which will help keep my pc cleaner as a have a few fans.Have s3 enabled in bios along with acpi support and acpi 2.0 support. The problem is that the system goes into s3 mode but i cant get it to come out unless i push the power button, and it resumes normally @ that point.I read something somewhere that u had to go into device manager, mouse properties and check the box in the power management tab that says allow this device to bring the pc out of standby, problem is i dont seem to have the power management tab?I have general, driver and details tabs only. Also in device manager i show HID keyboard device when i have a Logitech G15,and i show a Logitech HID-compliant mouse when i have a G7 logitech?I installed the software that came with the mouse and keyboard and there is no specific driver that i have found other than the setpoint software that allows u to enable the certain features of the hardware.I would reallly like to keep s3 enabled as i have read it could end up saving some pretty nice change @ the end of the month.Just want to be able to click my mouse or hit a key on my keyboard to be able to wake it up.Any help would be greatly appreciated.I have an Asus P5ad2 premium mobo,Logitech G15 keyboard and a G7 mouse. Thanks again.
