May your Santa shop at the right computer store, have the "correct" gift list you gave him.....know the right size, speed, or model number you want and find it "on sale" too (because he's probably shopping with your credit card too....lol....)! And, may your Santa download the latest drivers and slip them into the box before wrapping it too!

......what a cool "Santa" that would be.....!!!

Merry Christmas to all of you....and Happy New Year!

Hi Friends,

Me, too. Merry Christmas to all.

My Christmas was wonderful this year. My oldest son gave me two Thrush Magnum glass pak mufflers and two chrome exhaust pipe extensions. This spring, we're going to throw dual exhaust on Big Blue. Absolutely cannot wait. That 429 will make those pipes sing!

My youngest son gave me a 101pc Craftsman tool set, Crafstman pivot driver, Craftsman 25' steel tape measure and Craftsman black oxide and titanium drill bits. The wife gave me a 50pc Craftsman tap and die set, Craftsman 4" belt sander with catch bag, Skil power screwdriver, Craftsman speed lock system and a Dremel kit.

I gave the boys a variety of nice things, (PC Guide Disk Edition for the oldest boy, who wants to be a computer scientist when he grows up) and I gave the wife a Panasonic camcorder.

Whewie. Can't wait 'til spring!!! Man, I can turn some nuts and bolts now! And if I strip 'em, which is my habit, why then, I can just rethread 'em. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/cool.gif

Sorry folks, I know this particular post has nothing much to do with computers, but I am excited and had to share!

Cheers,

Now what OS are those two Thrush for?

And I don't recall ever needing a belt sander for my computer before!

Merry Christmas

To All: It has been fun these last couple of months here on these forums and so much that I had forgotten is starting to come back so this upcoming year I think that we can all have more fun and maybe make our systems run JUST the way we want with minimal fuss and fewer headaches (been thinking about buying stock in Bayer since getting this machine)

Pete,

Great work, excellent advice and wonderful humor!

Charles,

Great site and many, many hits in the new year!

Hey MJC,

The Thrush Glasspaks are otherwise known as the "soundcards" of the internal combustion "OS". hehe http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Oh wait, maybe they are the "speakers". http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif

I think you are right "speakers" should sound great! Most modern cars have no character the sound like lawnmowers with a bad cold.
