system configurations window

When I manipulated the Start Up items in msconfig, the msconfig (system configuration) window comes up everytime I start my computer. How do I keep this window from coming up? Thanks:cool:

I thought there was a check box on that dialog window that you can choose to be reminded in the future or not.

Which Windows version are you running?

You could install Mike Lin's Startup Control Panel (http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml), then use it to see if the "Microsoft Configuration Utility" [msconfig] is listed in one of the startup locations, and untick it if found.
That should stop it from automatically running at startup.
