This course i believe is going to include the need for rendering detailed images. well, my computer at the moment is dying so i figured that i may as well buy a system that, although it will cost a lot, it will also last me a long time (hopefully)..

i was just hoping for everyones advice as im quite the rookie when it comes to building computers, so i figured id get it already built for me.

WOW that is well cheap 8800gts for £72!!!! yes that would be a good pc and a great price im checking out that DINOPC now

George, I think that is an additional "upgrade" price, not the full price for the card. ;)

yep a 8800gts (320mb) is a great card and gives good bang for buck about the same as the 640mb version at < 1680 x 1050 resolutions. the processor is great and 2Gb of RAM it will be a good setup and play all new games on high and in the future you can SLI

ive been lookin at dinopc for about a month after doing alot of research into custom computing websites they are definately the best pricewise. anyways ive been waiting to get paid so i can buy the x1002-
(q6600 and 8800gtx, as theyve already reduced the price of the q6600 by £130 1 week ahead of intels july 22nd price cut)

-and i was gona be buying it 2moro but i cant get on the website...gutted.

Did you buy your pc before this happened?
