I got Vista Home Premium and it looks cool and stuff, so I went to set it up, I got my Anti-spyware and Anti-virus stuff on it, updated the drivers and then all of a sudden, applications stop installing. Like I tried to install Office 2007 and it hung at 0%. I tried KOTOR and same thing. Then I tried updating Installshield and that would hang also. What the hell happened here? Is it something to do with Vista? Did it get corrupted and now I have to reinstall it?

It might be worth a try. I have Vista and had no problems installing. I installed Office and it installed fine. I even installed some old software and had no problems. The only problem I had in the beginning was drivers. But now I've downloaded the latest drivers. If I were you, I'd try reinstalling. But you may want to wait till you hear from some of the other members for their opinion.

It seems to have fixed itself after restarting in Safe mode. I saw that installation worked and restarted in normal mode and now I'm installing KOTOR. Things always seem to fix itself for me when it comes to computers. Strange.
