i want install windows xp in P-3:
in bios the confuguration:
1st boot device: CD-ROM
2nd boot device: IDE-0
3rd boot device: CD-ROM

when he check the cdrom he skip and go to windows xp already installed

my cd windows xp always working so this no problem in cd boot from my cd windows...

You may be able to boot it up indirectly (eg SBM) or it may just be a bad disk or drive or disk/drive combination. Clean the drive and disk or try swapping in a drive that is known to be able to read that disk.

the cd rom can read this cd in windows oneself but the pc cant boot up this cd

P3's are a bit dated but usually have bios that support CD booting - particularly when you can set CD in the boot order. Once is enough BTW.

Try booting to another boot CD. Not all boot CDs are bootable even if they are readable in windows. Some dont even have a boot sector. Is this a normal retail CDROM. If not check it out with isobuster.

Try SBM or another drive if all else has failed.
