Hi. I'm starting school in roughly a month and a bit and even though I should be focusing on my studies, I'm going to be customizing my laptop for video games so I don't die of boredom in between classes, etc..

Here are the specs I've come up with. The only thing I'm unsure of is the processor, as I have very little experience with mobile CPUs.

Okay I've found an online store near me and I've come up with these specs. The only thing I'm not sure of is the Processor, since I'm not too familiar with mobile CPUs. Here are the specs:

- Standard features:

* 8X Variable Multi Drive
* 4-in-1 card reader
* Integrated 1.3MP digital video camera
* Super 802.11ABG Wireless LAN
* Bluetooth
* 56K v.90 modem
* 10/100/1000 Ethernet
* High-definition 7.1 audio subsystem with 4 built-in speakers and a subwoofer

LCD Monitor: 17 inch WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) Widescreen Super-Wide Viewing Angles matte

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 2.0GHz Dual-Core, 800MHz FSB, 4MB cache

Memory: 2048MB (2x1024MB) DDR2 667MHz PC5300

Hard Drive: 100GB 7200RPM Notebook SATA Hard Drive

Hard Drive #2: 80GB 7200RPM Notebook SATA Hard Drive

Video Card (PCI Express x16, modular): nVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX 512MB

GDDR3 Operating Systems (OS): Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP2

Battery: 12-Cell Li-Ion, roughly 1.5 - 2 hour duration.

Warranty: 1-Year Limited Warranty

I get that for roughly $2,500 CAD (not USD), which I'm willing to shell out, since this will be my one and only laptop until I absolutely need to upgrade in the far, far future. Basically my question is, will this processor handle everything just fine, or will I find myself lacking in processing powaaaaa?!

Any suggestions/comments? Thanks! :cool: :cool:
