hello, i'm new to this forum.
i have a question if anyone can help out, it'll be great. my dad's old sony vaio, model number pcg-992L is giving me problems. initial problem was the power plug, it'll shut off constantly, with a dead battery too, the system would shut off everytime it lost power. i decided to pull everything apart and re-solder the power plug. while doing it, i accidently broke the connection for the mouse pad, got one ordered already. but trying to turn on again, i get the blue screen saying error was for file: apflitr.sys . i did a search and found it maybe due to mouse pad. before the search, i did a fresh reformatting of the hd/os. could a new mouse pad be the fix?
