looks like microsoft took the idea of a root user from unix/linux. now you can be an administrator, but not THE Administrator.

it's a separate account, THE Administrator. the only difference is that unix/linux does a way better job of authentication, where you only need the root password. and you can log into the root temporarily through the terminal.
