1. I opened an account at the site.
There are, as yet, no help files to explain how to make good use of what it has to offer.
2. So far I've discovered that within my own account I can...
(a) Make new folders [and sub-folders] within the sites' own "My Files" folder.
(b) Right-click on any folder and "share", where I can then specify any number of "friends" who have access to only that folder [and all sub-folders], and the extent of the access these friends will be permitted.
e.g. View, upload, download, modify, delete.
(c) Upload files into any chosen folder[s]. I uploaded [as a single item into the "Family" folder I made] 1 GB of photo's within a complex folder system.
(d) Made another folder for Robert in Australia, and uploaded into that [or copied from the "Family" folder] only those items to which I wished him to have access.
(e) I had in mind the idea that Robert should/would upload any files he wanted to share with me [or any other persons I made "Friends" of his folder] into his folder in my account.
(f) Robert ended up making an account of his own and uploading files for sharing into folders he made within his account.
These show within the "Community" tab/folder.
I was able to download copies of these files, but the idea occurs to me that this proliferation of accounts would tend to make it possible to miss information because there are too many accounts to keep track of.
I imagine there will be at least 3 people [maybe more] sharing, and it would be best to do it at only one account.
3. Does anyone have any suggestions for making good use of the facilities?
