I have a question on car stereo system.
I have searched the web for a necessary website to post my question but have not found one.
Can someone help me please, do you know of such forum, if so can I have the web address?
My problem is that the lcd display on the car cd player does not show and I think the memory wire is not sending a signal.

Well, this is a PC help forum and car stereo is not usually covered here. I do know there is an automotive forum at www.dslreports.com and some others where you might get answers.
I am moving this to After Hours since it has little to do with computer storage issues.

LCD backlight could simply have blown.
Failing to connect the memory wire to the battery at all times, results in the stereo forgetting it's radio settings(and other settings) every time you turn off the ignition switch. The memory wire must be connected to the 12v battery at all times - it must not be wired to the ignition switch(unless you wire it to the battery connection on the ignition switch).

This is was the first thought that came to my head.
Do I need to open the system for this? I know in some electrical components they have fuses inside the casing.
