I would like to know all the options about how to hook an older TV without all the fancy ports to a computer and use the TV as a monitor. If possible please include some diagrams.

Thank You,
Alexander

Very simple. But your TV needs a composite or S-Video input and your graphic card should have the same socket.

Graphic Adaptor TV Out -------> TV composite input.

check out cablestogo.com They have a converter box that goes from vga (your standard monitor connection) to the box and converts it to s-video (round w/pins) or composite (yellow/blue/red) It is called Impact Acoustics "PC to TV Converter" and sells for $129.99.

Can you send us a picture from the back of your VGA card? So we can see if it has S-Video or Composite.
