hey guys,
hope everyone is having a good weekend. i have a problem,
i have been having problems as pete knows with my cd-rom
here lately not reading some cd and reading others. when
i reboot my system i have noticed it gives me a missing
or corrupt file in my cd conf. it says it is in line 6
of my conf.settings. so thinking i was mr. cool, i went
into my device manager thinking i could remove it and
start all over. but my system does not pick it up under
new hardware. i even used my cd-rom boot disk and i still
get the missing file error on boot up. so now i have a cd
rom that is not even showing installed on my system. what
do i need to do to get this problem fixed. thanks
