Which is better ACER or Emachine for a laptop???

ACER is the company that makes the Ferrari laptop- and is a very good company
E machines are owned by Gateway and i had bad experiences with Gateway...

Acer is pretty highly regarded among the respected contributors on this site. E-Machines is pretty much regarded as a poor choice by many people in lots of places. They seem to have a fair amount of problems and are only so popular because of their low cost.

In my mind there isn't much of a choice here. If you don't like the Acer, choose from many other recommended alternatives (found here by searching the forums) rather than buy an EMachines product.

Im using an ACER Aspire 5100.

It does what it should do and I don't have any issues with it so far. I only had it for 9 months.

I'm gonna go with Acer. I was sitting next to this guy on a plane and he worked for acer and he had that Ferrari laptop and it looked good then he let me try it out for a little a bit and it was smooth as glass it ran wonderful. Then I asked him how long he had it and he said about 2 years and he said he would swear by them. So I'm going to say acer because they look nice and run great!
