virtual channel SDRAM

whats the difference between virtual channel SDRAM PC133 and normal SDRAM PC-133? It's a $150 difference so i want to really know if the Virtual Channel is better and if it's worth an extra $150

VC SDRAM has never really caught on and the momentum now will move to DDR SDRAM, I think.
